Please note: The present advice replaces the advice given in November 2020 for catches in 2021. ICES advises that when the EU multiannual plan (MAP) for the North Sea is applied, catches in 2021 that correspond to the F ranges in the MAP are between 12 155 tonnes and 17 148 tonnes, assuming recent discard rates. The entire range is considered precautionary when applying the ICES advice rule. Note: This advice sheet is abbreviated due to the COVID-19 disruption. The previous advice issued for 2020 is attached as Annex 1.
