ICES advises that when the proposed EU multiannual plan (MAP) for the North Sea is applied, catches in 2019 that correspond to the F ranges in the MAP are between 982 tonnes and 1274 tonnes. The entire range is considered precautionary when applying the ICES advice rule. In order to ensure the stock in this functional unit (FU) is exploited sustainably, management should be implemented at the FU level.
