Footnotes
*
The split of catch and F into commercial and recreational components in the short-term forecast accounts for the recreational removals’ multiplier in 2023, which corresponds to a two fish-bag limit (status quo) as requested by the EU Commission.
#
Includes commercial landings, recreational removals, and commercial discards computed assuming an average ratio of 5.73%. SSB 2025 relative to SSB 2024 (15 569tonnes).
###
Advice values for 2024 are relative to the corresponding 2023 values (MAP advice of FMSY × SSB2023/MSYBtrigger = 3398 tonnes and FMSYlower × SSB2023/MSYBtrigger = 2897 tonnes, respectively; all other values are relative to FMSY).
^
EU multiannual plan (MAP) (EU, 2019).
^^
The Bpa, and MSY Btrigger options were left blank because none of them can be achieved in 2025, even with zero catch in 2024.
