Advice Sentence
*
ICES advises that when the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) approach is applied, catches in 2025 and 2026 should be no more than 306 tonnes and 311 tonnes respectively. All catches are assumed to be landed. Management of the catches of skates and rays under a combined TAC prevents effective control of single-stock exploitation rates and could lead to overexploitation of some species.
